The Opening of The Door of Righteousness

عَنْ عَمْرِو ابْنِ الْحَمِقِ الْخُزَاعِيِّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهم عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:

إِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِعَبْدٍ خَيْرًا اسْتَعْمَلَهُ قِيلَ: وَمَا اسْتَعْمَلَهُ قَالَ: يُفْتَحُ لَهُ عَمَلاً صَالِحاً بَيْنَ يَدَيْ مَوْتِهِ حَتَّى يَرْضَى عَنْهُ مَنْ حَوْلَهُ 

From Amr Ibn al Hamiq al Khuza'i, he actually heard the Prophet SAW say: "When Allah wills good for someone, then Allah will make him do good deeds."  The friends asked;  "How to make him do good deeds?"  The Prophet SAW said: "Allah opened the door for him to do righteous deeds before his death, so that he is pleased with those around him".

Status: Sahih Hadith 

Learnings:

1. It is Allah SWT who makes a person good and righteous. 

2. A Muslim becomes good when Allah SWT moves him to do righteous deeds. 

3. Allah SWT opens doors, curves and corners to encourage a person to do good deeds continuously so that the people around him feel and acknowledge the good deeds. 

May we always be shown the doors and corners to do righteous deeds, not only for personal deeds but also for the community and the country. Work hard with righteous deeds and pray that we are always shown the doors to do righteous deeds until the end of our lives.
