Prohibition of Slandering Others

From Abu Hurairah RA that the Prophet SAW said: "When there is someone who says: 'Woe to mankind', then in fact he himself is more wretched than them."
(HR Muslim No: 4755)
Status: Sahih Hadith

Learnings:
1. A Muslim must not have ill-thinking and slander other people because it may turn around on himself.

2. We should never badmouth others because we may be worse than them.

3. Our destiny is according to what our mind thinks. If our mind thinks negatively, then the result is negative.

4. A Muslim needs to maintain good faith towards Allah.

5. Mishaps that happen to us are not necessarily caused by the actions or crimes of others. It may even happen because of our own attitude.

6. Admitting to our own weaknesses and ignorance is actually more important than punishing other people's crimes or blaming them.

7. We must admit our weaknesses first and not make others an escapist by pointing fingers at others.

Let us try to distance ourselves from the tendency to judge others and vilify them.
