Allah Answers Prayers

Narrated Salman al-Farsi: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Your Lord is munificent and generous, and is ashamed to turn away empty the hands of His servant when he raises them to Him."

Narrated in Sunan Abi Dawud, no. 1488
In-book reference: Book 8, hadith no. 73
Grade: sahih (authentic)
Translation adapted from sunnah.com

Lessons:
1. Muslims are obliged to always pray (make du'a) to Allah under all circumstances.

2. Allah will always grant the du'a and requests of His servants.

3. Allah will never disappoint His servants.

Allah decrees:

And your Lord says, "Call upon Me; I will respond to you." Indeed, those who disdain My worship will enter Hell [rendered] contemptible (Al-Ghafir: 60)

Let us not be among the arrogant and always make du'a to Allah.
