وعن أبي قتادة رضي الله عنه قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: من سره أن ينجيه الله من كرب يوم القيامة، فلينفس عن معسر أو يضع عنه
Abu Qatadah (r.a.) reported: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: He who likes Allah to deliver him from the calamities of the Day of Resurrection, let him either give respite to a debtor or grant him remission (of loans) in straitened circumstances.
Grade: sahih (authentic) - Imam Muslim

Lessons:
1. Giving respite and remission of loans to debtors in distressed situations are noble deeds that may save us from the punishment of the Hereafter
2. Allah loves that we give ease to those that are in hardship
Let us be of those with ‘rahmah’ by always helping those in need.
