Allah's Pleasure And Parents' Pleasure

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ النَّبِيِّ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلّى اللَُّ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said قَالَ رِضَى الرَّبِّ فِرِى الوَالِدِ وَسخَطُ الرَّبِّ فِي سَخَطِ الوَالِِ 

From Abdullah bin Amr RA ​​from the Prophet SAW, he said: "Allah's pleasure is found in the pleasure of a father, and Allah's anger is also found in the anger of a father."

(HR Tirmizi No: 1821)

Status: Hadith Hasan 

Learnings: 

1. The manners of a child is to be devoted and do good to both parents 

2. Imam Al Ghazali said: Among the manners of children to their parents;  listening to his words, obeying his orders (as long as it does not conflict with Syaria), not walking in front of him, not raising his voice, and trying to get his pleasure. 

3. Allah's approval of a person depends on the approval of both parents 

رِضَا الرَّرِّ فِى رِضَا الْوَالِدَيْنِ وَسُخْتُهُ فِى سُخْطِهِمَا 

God's pleasure lies in the pleasure of both parents and Allah's wrath lies in the anger of both parents

(HR Tabrani from Ibn Umar). 

Let's strive to be a pious child towards both parents.
