From Al Aswad said, "I once asked 'Aishah about what the Prophet SAW did when he was at home. So 'Aishah replied, "He always helps his family, when it is time to pray then he goes out to perform it (in the mosque)."
(HR Bukhari No: 635)
Status: Sahih Hadith
Learnings:
1. The Prophet SAW set an example when he was at home by helping with household chores such as washing, cooking and others.
2. The Prophet SAW also did not neglect the obligatory prayer in the mosque when the time came in addition to his role in society.
3. A good leader is one who can carry out his responsibilities towards Allah, his family (household) and then his responsibilities towards society and the country well and perfectly.
4. A happy family will result when husband and wife carry out their duties and roles with full responsibility and help each other in daily affairs without neglecting their obligations to Allah S.W.T.
Husbands should emulate the Prophet SAW in family life by helping the wife's daily affairs at home and taking care of their obligations to Allah such as obligatory prayers performed in the masjid.
