Not Hastening In Making Du'a

From Ibnu Shihab that he said;  Had told me Abu Ubaid the servant of Abdurrahman bin Auf which he is among the Qari (memorizers of the Quran) and Ahli Fiqah, he said;  I heard Abu Hurairah RA say;  The Prophet SAW said: "The du'a of one of you will always be answered as long as he is not in a hurry to say: I have du'a to my Lord, but He has not yet answered for me."
(HR Muslim No: 4917)
Status: Sahih Hadith.

Learnings:
1. Every Muslim is required to always du'a to Allah SWT.

2. A person's du'a will be answered by Allah SWT.

3. One of the reasons a person's du'a are not answered is when it is being rushed.

4. People who are in a hurry are those who are impatient for their du'a to be answered and easily give up and refuse to du'a again.

5. So du'a with confidence. The words of the Prophet SAW:

"Du'a to Allah while you are sure your du'a will be answered. Know that Allah will not grant from the oblivious and heedless hearts"
(Sunan Tirmidhi No: 3479)
