The Groups Whose Du'a Are Answered

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَلَاثُ دَعَوَاتٍ مُسْتَجَابَاتٌ لَا شَكَّ فِيهِنَّ دَعْوَةُ الْمَظْلُومِ وَدَعْوَةُ الْمُسَافِرِ وَدَعْوَةُ الْوَالِدِ عَلَى وَلَدِهِ 

From Abu Hurairah he said;  The Prophet SAW said: "There are 3 types of du'a that will be answered and there is no doubt about them: the prayer of the oppressed, the prayer of the traveller, and the du'a of parents for their children."

(HR Tirmizi No: 1828) 

Status: Hadith Hasan 

Learnings: 

1. There are 3 groups that Allah SWT has given privileges where their du'a are accepted by Allah SWT: 

a) Du'a from the oppressed

b) Du'a of people who are travelling

c) Du'a of parents to their children 

2. Muslims are required to always do good in association and relationships with members of the community including both parents. 

3. Avoid bad relationships with other people to the point that we become the cause of oppressing others. 

4. Make sure we don't do something bad by oppressing others to the point of causing them to pray bad for us. 

5. For those who are travelling, take advantage of the time of mustajab du'a throughout the time of traveling by increasing the number of du'a for yourself and others. 

6. For parents, take the opportunity to multiply good du'a for children. Bad words to children can also be a fu'a for them and it should be avoided.
