Expansion of Sustenance And Leaving A Good Name After Death

Anas b. Malik reported:

I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: He who is desirous that his means of sustenance should be expanded for him or his age may be lengthened, should join the tie of relationship. [Sahih Muslim 2557]

Lessons:

1. Each of us yearn for good during life and after death.

2. If one wishes to have one's means of sustenance expanded during his life and be remembered after death, one should have a good relationship with his relatives.

Let’s keep silaturrahim (good ties) with others! May we be granted boundless provision and may we benefit others even after death that Allah rewards us.
