Lesson:
1. Muslims are commanded to do good to their neighbours.
Narrated by Abu Hurairah r.a: The Prophet (SAW) said, “He will not enter Paradise whose neighbour is not secure from his wrongful conduct.”
(Sahih Muslim 46)

2. There are many ways of doing good to neighbours, such as not hurting them (through careless words or actions), always offering them help and assistance, congratulating them upon hearing good news, and giving them words of condolence to offer sympathy for a loss or an unfortunate event.
3. Neighbours are our closest “relatives”. They are regarded as a part of our family.
4. One of the signs of contentment in life is through presence of good neigbours.
One hadith is narrated as below:
Narrated by Sa’ad Abi Waqas: “Four things are part of happiness: a righteous spouse, a spacious dwelling, a righteous neighbour, and a comfortable mount. Four things are part of misery: a bad neighbour, a bad spouse, a restrictive dwelling, and a bad mount”
(Sahih Ibn Hibban 4122)

Let’s please our neighbours and do good to them.
