Quality of Charity

From Abu Hurairah, the Prophet SAW said, "One dirham can beat a hundred thousand dirhams".  Then a friend asked, "How can this happen, O Messenger of Allah?"  His Majesty explained, "There was a person who had two dirhams and took one dirham to give in charity. There is also a person who has a lot of wealth, so he takes one hundred thousand dirhams from his wealth to give in charity.

Learnings:
1. The reward of every Muslim's charity depends on his sincerity and wealth.

2. There is a Muslim who gives charity with the value of one dirham, but the reward exceeds the person who gives charity a hundred thousand dirhams because he gives half of his property (two dirhams) even though the amount given is small but the value is very great for him.

3. There is a Muslim who gives alms of one hundred thousand dirhams, it may be a lot in terms of amount but the value is small on his side (only a little) because he has millions of other dirhams.

4. Charity does not depend on quantity but what is more important is quality and sincerity.

5. Encouragement of alms giving not only to the rich but also to the poor because the alms will not reduce their wealth.

From Abu Hurairah RA, from the Prophet SAW who said: *Charity will not reduce wealth.*  There is no one who forgives others, but Allah will increase his glory.  And there is no one who humbles himself for the sake of Allah, but Allah will raise his rank."

Let's lighten the burden of our friends in Turkey, Syria, and Lebanon who were affected by these earthquakes.

Currently, the number of casualties has reached approximately 9,500 people in Turkey and Syria.

Among them, MyCARE Malaysia is mobilizing aid with implementing partners in the field.
Donations can be channeled to MyCARE Johor: https://mycare.qrd.by/turkiyejhr.
Or with other organizations or individuals

Let's give a quality charity.
