Practices During Eid

1) Come Out for Eid Prayers Along With Our Daughters dan Menstruating Women

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ، قَالَتْ كُنَّا نُؤْمَرُ أَنْ نَخْرُجَ يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ، حَتَّى نُخْرِجَ الْبِكْرَ مِنْ خِدْرِهَا، حَتَّى نُخْرِجَ الْحُيَّضَ فَيَكُنَّ خَلْفَ النَّاسِ، فَيُكَبِّرْنَ بِتَكْبِيرِهِمْ، وَيَدْعُونَ بِدُعَائِهِمْ يَرْجُونَ بَرَكَةَ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ وَطُهْرَتَهُ‏.‏

Narrated Um `Atiya:

We used to be ordered to come out on the Day of `Eid and even bring out the virgin girls from their houses and menstruating women so that they might stand behind the men and say Takbir along with them and invoke Allah along with them and hope for the blessings of that day and for purification from sins.

2) Takbeer

Narrated from the Prophet's Companion, Ibnu Mas'ud R.Anhu, he ever said (takbir):

أَللهُ أَكْبَر ، اَللهُ أَكْبَر ، لاَ اِلَهَ اِلاَّ اللهُ ، واَللهُ أكْبَر ، اَللهُ أَكْبَر ولِلهِ الْحَمْدُ

"Allahuakbar, Allahuakbar. Laailahailla AllahuwaAllahuakbar. Allahuakbar walillahilhamd."

3) Eat Some Dates Before Sholat Eidul-Fitri

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لاَ يَغْدُو يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ حَتَّى يَأْكُلَ تَمَرَاتٍ‏.‏ وَقَالَ مُرَجَّى بْنُ رَجَاءٍ حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَنَسٌ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَيَأْكُلُهُنَّ وِتْرًا‏.‏

Narrated Anas bin Malik:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) never proceeded (for the prayer) on the Day of `Eidul-Fitri unless he had eaten some dates. Anas also narrated: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to eat odd number of dates.

4) Take Different Path When Going for Eid Prayers and Returning

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو تُمَيْلَةَ، يَحْيَى بْنُ وَاضِحٍ عَنْ فُلَيْحِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ عِيدٍ خَالَفَ الطَّرِيقَ‏.‏ تَابَعَهُ يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ فُلَيْحٍ‏.‏ وَحَدِيثُ جَابِرٍ أَصَحُّ‏.‏

Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah:

On the Day of `Eid the Prophet (ﷺ) used to return (after offering the `Eid prayer) through a way different from that by which he went.
