Jabir ibn 'Abdullah al-Ansari reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Whoever has a favour done for him should repay it. If he cannot find anything he can use to repay it, he should praise the one who did it. When he praises him, he thanks him. If he is silent, he is ungrateful to him. If someone adorns himself with something he has not been given, it is as if he was wearing a false garment."

Learnings:
1. One of the morals of a Muslim when receiving a good deed such as a gift or hadiah, is to reciprocate the good deed with what is commensurate.
2. If we are not able to give a befitting return, give thanks to the contributor as one of the ways we are grateful.
3. The best expression of "thank you" is the word "Jazakallahu khairan" (may God reward you with goodness). This sentence is more valuable because it contains a prayer in it.
Usamah bin Zaid narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:
"Whoever some good was done to him, and he says: "jazaakallahu khairan (May Allah reward you in goodness) then he has done the most that he can of praise."
