Being Merciful Towards Others

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (SAW) kissed Al-Hasan bin Ali while Al-Aqra' bin Habis at-Tamim was sitting beside him. Al-Aqra said, "I have ten children and I have never kissed anyone of them," Allah's Messenger (SAW) cast a look at him and said, "Whoever is not merciful to others will not be treated mercifully."

Lessons:

1. Being kind towards others is a trait which is enjoined upon every Muslim
2. One of the ways to have mercy and love children is to kiss them as the Prophet (SAW) kissed his grandson Saidina Hassan.
3. Love our family members fully.
4. Whoever does not have mercy towards others will not be treated mercifully by Allah.

Let us have mercy on our children, and love our family members and others around us.
